On this week's WHFR Journal, you'll hear a special rebroadcast of a forum presented by the League of Women Voters Dearborn/Dearborn Heights featuring candidates running for the two 6-year seats on the Dearborn Public Schools Board of Education. Light From The Underground Welcomes Chris Herin
Light From The Underground (Sat. 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) is pleased to welcome Chris Herin of the bands Herin and Tiles to our studios on Saturday, November 2, at 11:00 a.m. Herin will release the CD Hiding in Plain Sight on November 1, 2024, on the Laser's Edge record label. We will share music from the CD and talk with Chris about the project.

Hello everyone. I first started my WHFR radio career in the spring of '98. A world of musical and personal possibilities was opened to me. Since then, I have been a DJ for many shows, Head Music Director, Promotions Coordinator, and organized and planned many fundraiser events for the station. I have left and come back for various reasons, including Covid, and now I am excited to be back.

At the forefront of this movement was the band King Crimson, led by guitarist and composer Robert Fripp.
