WHFR Journal Have a great three-day weekend, but pause (at least for this show) to remember the reasons for the national observance: for those that died serving our country and for those who are working to never again have war. So here are some thoughts on the subject (plus especially selected music!), some history about the day, and of course all the highlights of the news and events of the week in and around Dearborn, including details about Dearborn's 90th annual Memorial Day Parade (5-26, 10 AM to Noon, Michigan Avenue, from Greenfield Road to Schaefer).

The Malt Shop & We Are Not Alone Mr. Phil Kava is our guest this week. Phil is a Michigan native who, with family and friends, has witnessed UFOs over Lake Michigan and believes that the Lake’s waters, along with other bodies of waters around the world, hold a great attraction for their occupants. He claims that he has developed the ability to summon UFOs through meditation. Mr. Kava was recently featured on an episode of Discovery Channel’s “Uncovering Aliens." He has worked with the late W.C. Levengood in the area of subtle energies which offers strong evidence of a universal consciousness which we may all tap into.
