Lizerrd has taken many turns and changes along the way. From their early influences Jesus Lizard, as well as The Stooges, they thrash some serious hard core riffs. Traveling everywhere there's a stage, they're growing their name with a following that'll tell ya, these guys are for real!

Psych, Indie, Garage, Marvels are ON IT!
Newly relocated to Lansing, Marvels make their way to Motor and showcase a wealth of talent and hits to come. Backed up by a deep-seated love & appreciation of artists such as Pavement, Marvels are reverb guitarist Ernest Klinger, bassist Jacob Hite, percussionist Virginia Everett, and lead vocalist/guitarist Matt Everett. These four mix up the writing and come up with solid tunes.

These five young guys have a profound love for Prog Rock, Hardcore, and even Avant Jazz, and it comes together in a FANTASTIC way on this Motor! These fellas drive hard on their instrumentals, they even included one vocal track showcasing their wide-ranging songwriting skills. You'll hear hints of Yes, Dream Theatre, and be glad you tuned in.

Oakland county's first word on classic rock show off their Alice Cooper, Kiss Roots, along with generous helpings of alternative & R&B, and just have FUN on Motor. These guys have personality, and it's obvious in their music. Music will move you, between song banter will crack you up. What more d'ya need? Tune in.

Jeremy Porter & The Tucos return to Studio J to promote their latest release, Partner In Crime. Some of these songs received their world debut this Thursday. More insight into the band. Did you know drummer Gabriel Doman engineered this release? Comfortable in EVERY facet of recording. Bassist Jason Bowes flexed his artistic strength designing the graphical layout of the cd case itself. Much respect to the guys. Give this podcast a listen.

The Planet D Nonet is Detroit's award winning swing band. Unfortunately we booked them for one of the WORST days in Michigan's ongoing love affair with SNOW! By the time we got all ten guys in and situated we had unfortunately lost half of our show. Gracious guys guys that they are, RJ Spangler and company promised we hadn't seen the last of them here in Studio J.

Right after getting their stockings stuffed by the jolly fat guy, Archaic Spatium come in and show us how prog-rock is supposed to be done, Detroit style.
