WHFR Meet the DJ Event TONIGHT Saturday April 11 8pm-2am at Oakwood Bar & Grill
WHFR kicks off Radiothon 2015 with our first WHFR Meet the DJ Event. This benefit for WHFR will feature a night of your favorite WHFR DJs playing music like they play on their shows or an example of a week of WHFR programming in ONE evening! In addition to music there will be giveaways, a 50-50 raffle, WHFR merchandise for sale and much more. We are asking for a $5 donation at the door. Every three months or so, on the fifth Tuesday, WHFR presents an hour of information and opinions about the city of Dearborn Heights. On this show, City Councilperson Ned Apigian interviews Dearborn Heights Assessor Justin Pryvylski and will further update us on the issues before the Council. WHFR 7th Annual Festivel of Enlightenment Holistic Fair Saturday March 21, 2015 from 11am-5pm
WHFR has something great for you to do on Saturady (March 21) and that is to attend our 7th Annual Festival of Enlightenment Holistic Fair. There will be many vendors, body workers, and readers at this event along with speakers, music, and food. This event starts at 11am and runs until 5pm. New Jersey native (now Michigan resident) Daddy G hosts this new show on WHFR, where you will be whisked off to the Malt Shop where the jukebox plays music from the 50’s and 60s. His lighthearted approach will make you laugh and the music will make you dance. For some, it will evoke memories of their youth. That’s "The Malt Shop" with Daddy G every Thursday from 2-4 PM.
