WHFR 4th Annual Record Show TODAY (Saturday Oct 8) 9am-4pm

The 4th annual WHFR Record Show is finally here. There are a wide variety of vendors with lots of records, cds, cassettes, dvds, vhs, t'shirts, and more. Early bird admission 9am ($5) and regular admission 10am-4pm ($1). Some come on out to the Student Center Building on the Main Campus of HFCC to check out all of the great musical items that are looking for a new home. John Ventre will guest on WE ARE NOT ALONE Tuesday October 4 from 1-2pm

John Ventre is the Pennsylvania State Director for the Mutual UFO Network or MUFON. John will be speaking at the Pennsylvania State UFO conferences in October, which he is sponsoring. He will be presenting on his book “The Day After 2012”. The book Delves into various End Time Prophecies from Hopi, and Biblical, to Edgar Cayce and Jeanne Dixon. Big Band, Broadway, and Beyond featuring BUDDY - THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY Friday Sept 30 10am-1pm

This week's featured musical is BUDDY - THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY originally brought to the stage in London's West End in 1989 and then to Broadway in 1990. This jukebox musical is based on the book by Alan Janes about the life of rock and roll musical legend Buddy Holly. This musical not only features the music of Buddy Holly but also features the music by other early rock 'n rollers like Chuck Berry, Ritchie Valens, the Big Bopper, and more as performed by the Original London Cast.
