Jo Ann Korczynski, WHFR's Blues Music Director and Host of "Highway 61" (Fridays 2-6 PM) has died
From her son Ed: "Jo Ann Korczynski, age 82, of Dearborn, Michigan,, passed away January 6, 2016. Jo Ann was born November 3, 1933, in Detroit, the daughter of George and Jo (Cessna) Selke. A graduate of Cass Tech, she worked in Hudson’s display department. In 1958, she married Edward M. Korczynski (1932-1996) with whom she shared the joy of music appreciation. She was a professional story-teller.

David's guest today is Michael Geldmacher. Michael has a long list of police-related schools to his credit. He is presently the Director of Security for Botsford Hospital. Michael is also a member of the Michigan chapter of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). His interest in the UFO phenomenon began with his own personal, multi-witness, close encounter sighting when he was 20 years old.
