Willie Nelson, Ian Dury, and The Doors Celebrated on "Theme Attic" Today, May 29, from 10AM-Noon!
Sometimes, it's a good to look a little more closely at an artist. Some recent events give a reason to spend a little more time thinking about them. Willie Nelson turned eighty earlier this month, and the recent deaths of British pub rocker, Ian Dury, and the eclectic Ray Manzarek of The Doors triggered many memories to revisit these acts. "Theme Attic," the radio show that picks themes and plays music from a variety of genres about selected subjects, will feature tributes to these interesting musicians.

The great significance of this recording is the excellent sound quality. In addition, it features Gary Boyle on guitar and Art Themen on sax, both of whom help to make this a unique - yet, short lived - version of the band. Two pioneers of avant garde music and long time friends, Brian Eno and Robert Fripp will be showcased as well. Both gentlemen celebrate birthdays this week.
