9th ANNUAL WHFR RECORD SHOW 9am-4pm Saturday October 8, 2016 at HFC's Student Center Building
WHFR is proud to present our 9th Annual WHFR Record Show. We have a wide variety of vendors setting up and selling lots of great items - LPs, 45s, 78s, CDs, cassettes, DVDs, T'shirts, Posters, and more. 10-6-16, 4-7 PM: Motor Live Drive @5--Carmen Liburdi and Audra Kubat
Host-Scott Boatright. This Thursday we have a special double treat for you. Hear the beautiful sounds of singer songwriter Carmen Liburdi from 5-6 playing selections from her four releases, including her latest "Patron Saints of the Ordinary" and talks about her performance at the Doll Pile Show that night at St Ceces. In the 6 o'clock hour, more beautiful sounds as Audra Kubat plays songs from her brand new release "Mended Vessels" and talks about her record release performances at the DIA Friday (Oct.7th) night.

10-6-16, 12-2 PM: Sounds from the Corridor--Interview with Richard Pinhas and Wume
Host-Scott Boatright. A legendary Avant Garde/Electronic/Rock musician, Richard has 2 new releases on the Cuneiform label; Process and Reality (with Tatsuya Yoshida and Masami Akita) and MU (with Barry Cleveland, Michael Manring, & Celso Alberti). Richard has been recording/performing for over 40 years. He is currently touring the U.S. with Wume, an experimental band from Maryland, and is playing the Marble Bar this Friday. I will be speaking with Richard about his career; including the band Heldon, and with members of Wume.

Mr. Laird Scranton joins host David Twichell to discuss ancient cosmology and language and the possible connection to the strange symbols reported to be on the surface of UFOs as well as those reported to be on their interior by alleged abductees. Two main interviews:. First, Regan Ford--not a candidate for public office, but a local businessman, community activist, and current President of the Dearborn Rotary. In this political season, we'll especially ask him about what responsibilities citizenship demands. Then, Tom Bagwell--Libertarian candidate for 12th District U.S. Representative, for a full 30-minutes of in-depth questioning (no sound bites allowed). Join host Mike Holloway as he welcomes certified hypnotherapist Phillip Rosenbaum, as they discuss how hypnosis and positive affirmations can help someone if they are willing to open themselves to alternative ways of self improvement. Phillip also helps to dispel many of the misconceptions associated with hypnosis. In addition, they talk about how hypnosis can be used in regards to past life regression and how that, too, can be therapeutic.
