7-16 & 17: Special WHFR Programming from "Concert of Colors," 1 to 10 PM
The 24th Annual Concert of Colors has begun, and WHFR is proud to present ALL the music performances from the Diversity Stage in the Max M. Fisher Music Center, 3711 Woodward in Detroit, interrupting our regularly scheduled shows. But, there are also two MORE live performance stages there, plus FOOD vendors, and since the event is FREE to attend, we hope everyone can attend in person for the entertainment from a wide variety of top music artists (many LOCAL) and styles, usually not heard in other festivals around town--but always on WHFR, of course.

It's "Community Day" at our local outdoor market--located in the Bryant Library parking lot in west Dearborn (behind Buddy's Pizza), and WHFR staff will be sharing space in the Henry Ford College tent. We will have some giveaways and would love to meet our Loyal Listeners, in between their shopping, of course. Besides vendors--and food trucks between 11 AM and 1:30 PM--several local non-profit organizations will have their booths here, too.
