Ray Brown joins the list of Jazz musicians that would have celebrated their 100th birthday this year. The great bassist was known for his years performing with Oscar Peterson and Ella Fitzgerald, who he was married to for a few years. Ray also performed with many artists outside of Jazz including Aretha Franklin, Steely Dan, Maria Muldaur and Elvis Costello.
