From "Concerts of Colors": WHFR will be broadcasting all the live music performances from the Diversity Stage--one of three at the Max M. Fisher Music Center. Our regularly schedule music shows will be on hiatus during these performances from about 2 PM to 10 PM, Saturday and Sunday, July 6 & 7. This 1956 film inspired Gene Rodenberry to create "Star Trek". The music was composed by the electronic music pioneer husband and wife team of Louis & Bebe Barron (born: 6/16/25). The Barron's music - "Electronic Tonalities" - remains as riveting and inventive today as it did when it was first written and performed.
