Join us for the WHFR Journal Friday, Oct. 31 at 1pm when we chat with HFC Career Services Officer Chad Austin about the upcoming first of its kind virtual career fair for our HFC business students and alumni. Chad will discuss interview and resume tips, share details on the fair itself and how to register for the event taking place Nov. 12. We'll also hear from HFC student journalist Ka'Priia who shares her experience (and some clips) from a recent meeting with Senator Elissa Slotkin, who visited the HFC campus and chatted with a small group of journalism students about their interests in world and local news. Finally, we'll share how you can win a Trick-or-Treat Grab Bag from WHFR on Halloween, and wrap the show with a PRX program called Culture Clique, with an episode titled "The History of Pumpkin Carving and jack-o-lanterns". Have a fun Halloween weekend and tune in!
