Tune in Friday, October 16 at 1pm for the WHFR Journal as we chat with the Dean of the School of Liberal Arts Dr. Bradley Romans. He'll discuss what's involved in an HFC Liberal Arts education and opportunities for students to explore in the areas it houses. Next, we'll share details about how you can attend the free Fall Season show at the HFC Hammond Planetarium on our campus called "The Road Less Traveled", taking place this Friday evening and throughout the rest of this fall season. Finally, we'll share the PRX special "The Sound of the Circus" from the series: Today In History - with The Retrospectors. The traditional music for the circus, "Entrance of the Gladiators", wasn’t actually written for the circus at all, instead when it was composed on 17th October, 1899. Learn about it's origin as we honor the anniversary of its composition this weekend. Join us for the Journal this and every Friday only here on WHFR Radio.
