Join us tomorrow, Friday, October 9 at 1pm as we chat with HFC Student Meetta Martin about her fundraising project called the "Stars of Tomorrow HFC Student Showcase" taking place on our HFC campus on Nov. 9. This showcase features music, poetry, dance, theatre and more and is a fundraiser for the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program. Learn how you can participate, support our students, and help out a wonderful cause at the same time. We'll also chat with WHFR Record Show Coordinator Mike Dereniewski who will give us the 411 on Saturday's WHFR 17th Annual Record Show taking place on our campus from 9am-4pm. If you've never been to a record show before, this is your year! Finally, we'll hear an inspiring PRX segment of Medical Stories called "Breast Cancer: Aubrey's Story" about a young woman living her dream as a new mom who gets the news she has breast cancer. As October is Cancer Awareness Month, this show honors those survivors living with the disease and shines light on resources and options available today. Please tune in and we hope to see you on campus Oct. 10 and Nov. 9 for our live community events.
