FOOI (aka Found Object Orchestra Internationale) will be performing LIVE ON THE AIR this Friday night during The Outer Limits, 8:00pm - midnight! Members include James Cornish-Euphonium and Trumpet, Ian Fulcher-Electronics and Horn, Curtis Glatter-Percussion and Found Objects!

In 2009, the music for FOOI was arranged and composed by Curtis Glatter and the live and studio performances were produced by Steve Goossen and Eddie Jackson. Also in 2009, the lineup originially consisted of long-time collaboraters James Cornish and Curtis Glatter and the FOOI Project specifically spotlighted the electronics of Steve Goossen. The influences of this Detroit-based trio includes SquarePusher, Aphex Twins, Steve Reich, Sun Ra, Brian Eno, Miles Davis, Edgard Varese and Yusef Lateef.

In 2010, a CD was released entitled "Estuary Dances" featuring 5 movements to be choeographed by any ensemble for any number of dancers. The CD was released on the independant record label Bare Wire Technologies as an America-Only 100-unit signed CD release on July 31, 2010. Also in 2010, Steve Goossen decided to persue a solo project and was replaced by experimental electronics veteran Ian Fulcher who relocated from Washington DC to live in Ann Arbor. Ian now hosts a music series at the Arbor Vitae in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Since 2006, Curtis Glatter and James Cornish have continued to collaborate on a variety of projects while constructing and deconstructing musical ideas and are proud to have Ian Fulcher on board for a new record which is currently being composed by Curtis Glatter and will be released before 2012.
