This was LONG overdue, but well worth the wait! case managerz, cm3 and cm84, just came in here and rocked the house off the FOUNDATION. Oh these guys delivered. We're not talking about just scratching turntables, not that there's anything wrong with that by any means. They brought some classic analog synths no one has seen since the 1980s in here, along with their laptop, and just ripped it. I mean they could have given The Gorillaz lessons they were getting off so hard.

Bill Gerazounis and Alex Karasinski brought PHENOMENAL talent into WHFR February 26. As The Static Dial these two do things with guitars that can be fairly compared to Steve Vai or Billy Sheehan. But the beauty is- they put the songs first. Be it alternative, hard-rock, or something soulful, they will put just that into it. And you'll hear it in this acoustic set. Download The Static Dial as they shared both their early releases and their latest, Audio Nomad. Learn why you should see them live. And why you should keep tuning into The Motor Live Drive @ 5 on WHFR at 89.3FM.

Or is it a Static Dial Teaser? We had a sudden opening and asked good friend Alex Karasinski to prep us for next month's performance by The Static Dial. You know Alex, ingenue bassist and all around cool dude. He sat in alright, WITH his axe. Since it was just the two of us, no engineers, we waded through the technical glitches and brought you this chat session, preview, and glimpse into the mind and talent of a young monster in the making. Catch him now before Downbeat & Bass Player take him away. At the best place for local legends in the making, the Motor Live Drive @ 5.
