It's been awhile trying to summarize this performance. It was rather like sharing something between friends with the whole wide world. But that's what we're supposed to do on Motor. The whole White Russians couldn't be here, it was Jackie and harpist Bernard Staples, fresh off their release of USED, and Jackie's turn on drums with Jennifer Westwood and The Handsome Devils. They combined to take the Durty Americana sound down to the bare metal. The results will leave you hearing and feeling something personal. Jackie Stahl & The White Russians. Motor Live Drive @5.

Yeah, this happened. Bronze Mambas played live Wednesday night, came into Motor, shredded the tiles off the rafters, and then went right back out Thursday night and did it all over again! We heard these guys were the real thing, they just had to prove it with a solid aural assault. Three pieces: percussionist, maniacal guitarist, and hold-nothing-back lead vocalist. With a commitment to staying on stage on the regular, their chops have done nothing but grown. If you haven’t seen them live yet, prepare yourself by jamming this podcast of Bronze Mambas on the rise.

OLD EMPIRE has a genre mashing style that is hard to put your finger on, yet you want to get your hands all over it. With snappy lyrics, great harmonies and songs that take you back then bring you back. And the music is played with so much passion. Gabe, Laura, Charlie, Mark and Oak make up OLD EMPIRE. They are a fine band that you need to experience for yourself. They were a hoot to have on this edition of Motor. Listen in and see for yourself, the Motor Live Drive @ 5 will keep bringing you just such classics.
