Monday, 1-19-15, N-2: MLK Day Specials!

From Noon to 1 PM, from American Radioworks, WHFR presents "King's Last March," a radio documentary covering the last year of King's life, when he moved beyond integration and began directly criticizing the overarching economic and political systems that abandoned the poor and the disadvantaged. Then, from 1 to 2 PM, WHFR presents a special "Democracy Now" show, a tribute to Martin Luther King, Jr., hosted by Amy Goodman.

The Players Guild of Dearborn presented its first play, The Prince Who Wore a Red Feather in His Cap, on December 30, 1927 at the old Dearborn High School. It's now 2015 and the Players Guild is still going strong!
