Ambient / Experimental / Electroacoustic Music Meets Chocolate Jazz -- Saturday, July 31!

When does Ambient / Experimental / Electroacoustic music meet Chocolate Jazz?

On Saturday, July 31 -- and only on WHFR! Round out the day with some blues, folk and soundtracks for a fun-filled Saturday!

Active since 2008, Ismism is an ambient-experimental rock group based in Montreal. The brainchild of Mathew Daher, the compositions are products of his experimentations with the synthesis of found sounds, samples, and acoustic instruments both traditional and obscure. Meet Matt and hear some of this amazing music 11am tomorrow on "Light From The Underground".

Then to "smooth" out the day, Mark Clark (Jazz @ Trinity) visits "Saturday Spontaneity" at 2pm to talk about the "Chocolate Jazz" fundraiser to benefit GOYA Mobile Food Pantry and Wyandotte's Roosevelt High School Jazz Band. Hear the music of award-winning jazz trumpeter David Wells and learn all about a "Chocolate Jazz" event.

Tune in Saturday, July 31 for a day of great music -- of many genres!
